OUR SERVICES - ALZHEIMER'S SPECIAL CARE DEMENTIA
D'Youville Senior Care is dedicated to helping individuals with Alzheimer's Disease and related dementias achieve the highest quality of life throughout the middle and late stages of their disease. We have 84 residents who are cared for in this specialized program. These two Special Care Units provide support at all levels of cognitive, physical, psychosocial, and spiritual functioning, helping each resident to maximize his or her abilities. Our program incorporates a special sensory room for mid-late stage Alzheimer's and related dementias.
Our warm and loving staff is highly trained, promoting a safe environment for maximizing independence, well-being, and positive life experiences. We utilize an interdisciplinary team approach and value the input from our residents' families.
