D'Youville's Community Exchange program was established in October 2004 with the purchase of a new 14-passenger bus.  Since then, D'Youville's residents and clients of the Adult Day Health Center have frequently enjoyed scenic excursions, trips to the Pheasant Lane Mall, local sporting events, and dinners at local restaurants.

Not only does the bus help get D'Youville's seniors back out in the community, it also allows seniors in the community to visit D'Youville for educational events.  D'Youville regularly hosts Open Houses and Seminars for local senior centers and independent and assisted living facilities.

The bus was made possible through the generosity of many community members and businesses throughout Greater Lowell via contributions to the D'Youville Foundation.
