Warm Hearts – Warm Hands
D'Youville's 1000 Mittens and Hats Campaign
Come join the D'Youville Knitting Circle as we knit warm mittens and hats for some of Lowell's underprivileged children. Our group will meet weekly on Mondays, beginning February 8th in the Bruyere Gardens Craft Room, from 2:30 to 3:30 pm. Yarn and other supplies will be provided.
You can:
- Brush up on an old hobby
- Learn a new skill
- Meet new friends
- Enjoy the companionship of neighbors
- Help make life more comfortable for Lowell's youngest residents

Join us for our 6th Annual Golf Classic! The $250 entry fee includes green fees, cart, lunch, and dinner. Enjoy fabulous playing conditions with greens and bunkers that are newly renovated to USGA specifications! Proceeds will help to fund the projects and programs that benefit the hundreds of seniors served annually on the D'Youville campus.

Celebrate National Grandparents Day at D'Youville! Create a Walk Team!
Gather up your friends and family and meet us on the front grounds of D'Youville for our7th annual Steppin' Out for Seniors walk-a-thon and carnival. Get out and enjoy the sunshine with a scenic 3-mile walk along the banks of the Merrimack River. As a thank you to everyone for walking, you'll enjoy a fun-filled day of carnival festivities including games, pony rides, a petting zoo, a dazzling display of antique cars, dance troupes, a rock-climbing wall, a bungee run, moonwalk and other inflatable rides. There will be a wide range of food sponsors as well. So walk in honor of your grandparents and then join us on the front lawn for some fun. There is something for all ages and our seniors would love to have you join us for this special day!

This special evening will include delicious food, entertainment and a special tribute to D'Youville's founders and others who have made a lasting impact on D'Youville over the past 50 years.

7th Annual Lasting Impressions Celebration was the Best-attended Ever!
Thank you to everyone who helped to make our 7th Annual Lasting Impressions Celebration successful! 275 guests came out to Vesper Country Club in support of the Foundation as we honored Joe and Genevieve Sullivan for their steadfast support of D'Youville since its inception in 1960 and for their many contributions to the Greater Lowell community.
The event raised $90,000 in gross contributions. Proceeds will help to complete funding for D'Youville's Park. The well-attended event provided a wonderful evening of good food, entertainment and tributes to this special couple.
We hope you can join us next year for another special evening of music, spirits and hors d'oeuvres as we celebrate 50 years of compassionate care.
D'Youville Foundation's 6th Annual Steppin' Out for Seniors
Walk-a-Thon and
Carnival Raises $55,000!
The D'Youville Foundation celebrated National Grandparents Day at the Steppin' Out for Seniors walk-a-thon and carnival on Sunday, September 13. The benefit raised over $55,000, drawing 300 walkers and 1,500 carnival-goers who enjoyed an enchanting afternoon on the front grounds of D'Youville.
Following the walk, participants enjoyed a complimentary carnival complete with five inflatable rides, a rock climbing wall, petting zoo and pony rides, an assortment of amusement games and prizes, over 50 antique cars many from Dracut Road Runner Club and Busted Knuckles Care Club, dance performances by students from Karrie Stang's Gotta Dance Studio and the O'Shea-Chaplin Academy of Irish Dance. DJ Ray Ouillette played a variety of tunes throughout the day. Boxing champion “Irish” Joe McCreedy was on hand to sign autographs after he completed the 3 mile walk.
Thanks to the many community supporters and nearly 100% of D'Youville's 350 employees, for their tremendous support of D'Youville's seniors! Proceeds will help fund projects and programs for the seniors served on D'Youville's campus.
D'Youville Foundation's 5th Annual Golf Classic

Thank you to everyone who participated in our 5th Annual Golf Classic. The event raised a record $125,000 which will be used to further enhance the lives of the seniors cared for on the D'Youville campus.
150 players came to Vesper in support of The Foundation. Participants enjoyed a deli lunch before heading out on the course. The golfers then took a swing at the 18 holes before returning to Vesper's Main House for a BBQ dinner.
